March Vehicle Donation Campaign Supports Girls Inc., Other Nonprofit Organizations
IRVINE, Calif., March 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — To celebrate Women’s History Month, Kelley Blue Book teamed up with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to launch a campaign helping Girls Inc. and other nonprofits making a difference in the lives of girls and women. From now through the end of March, consumers with a vehicle past its prime can help turn their old horsepower into funds for programs that promote girl power by donating their vehicle to Girls Inc., a nonprofit that inspires girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
In partnership with CARS, on Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com, consumers can choose to donate almost any type of vehicle to Girls Inc. or other nonprofits, from cars and trucks to boats, RVs and more. CARS strives to accept every vehicle donation regardless of condition and offers free pick-up and towing. Since first partnering in 2017, together Kelley Blue Book and CARS have raised more than $3.2 million for nonprofits nationwide.
“Vehicle donation is a really easy way to charitably give to an organization,” said Jessica Stafford, senior vice president of Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book. “It’s a win-win opportunity, especially for people offloading an older vehicle with little value left who may not want to hassle with trying to sell it on their own. Beyond the tax benefits and ease of the process of donating a used vehicle through CARS, people can feel good about giving to worthy nonprofit organizations like Girls Inc. that make a difference in the lives of girls and families in their community and beyond.”
